Kuala Lumpur Tourism Bureau has launched a new branding with the objective to promote KL as a diverse destination with different tourism products and services.
We worked with the tourism bureau to arrange a media FAM trip with Ali Trip, where 8 printing press media representatives from China were invited to join a 5D4N KL FAM Trip. There were two stages in promoting the VisitKL new branding to the China market since its launch; first via online media, which the press representatives updated their WeChat and Weibo daily to engage with their fans during the trip. They also each produced news articles which were later published on their respective printed media (magazine & newspaper), promoting Kuala Lumpur and her new branding to their 2 million readers. The articles also made headlines on the website of Ali Trip.
